Been wanting to get into the HDTV game? Considered getting another HDTV? Fry’s / Outpost.com has the SYNTAX OLEVIA 337H 37″ HD Monitor LCD on sale for $599 and $18.50 s/h. This is a monitor and will need a cable box, which is what most people have these days anyway. So, don’t wait and get on this great deal today or they will all be gone.
Just before Christmas, we ordered a different 37″ HDTV for $697 Free s/h and they sold out quickly. They now have them back in stock and it sells for $1099.99. We have really loved this TV and are looking forward to the new to come in!

Update: They are all sold out! I hope you got yours in time.

We took our Jeep Grand Cherokee to a National Chain transmission shop and they claim to have totally replace a transmission cooler tube that broke during a cold snap that we had here in NC. Instead, they put a $2 rubber tube and $1 worth of clamps on the end of the original tube and charged me $125.00 plus $85.00 labor. I noticed the ripoff as soon as I got home and had the car in my driveway. I have purposely left off the name of chain to give them a chance to fix this situation before I continue to put this out to the public.
Side note – In true form, they also called me to let me know that the Jeep was ready and the total would be $216. One of many lies. Then to add insult to injury, they tell me that there is 90 day warranty on all the work they have done. How long do you think that this type of work would last???
Update: After going back and forth with them. I got them to refund the price of the part and labor that they charged. They also said they would do two free oil changes.

North Carolina was the regular season co-champion and tournament champion of the highest rated conference in the nation. For that, they are rewarded with a No. 1 seed in the East region, and rightfully so.
The Tar Heels will get to stay close to home as the No. 1 seed, with their first-round game against Eastern Kentucky to be played in Winston-Salem

What a beautiful day to be at the park. It was a bit windy, but otherwise a perfect day. Taylor and I went on a long walk today, just like we did when she was 2 or so. We lived near a pond and had lots of places we could walk to. We spent so much time together and I would not trade of it for anything in the world. We will try to find some of the pictures that we took of us at the pond and post them here.
I also took a lot of pictures and will be posting them soon as well.

Finally some of our favorite shows are back on tv-American Idol, Amazing Race, and for James 24 and Lost. Needless to say our TIVOS and DVRs are working hard all four of them! So far both Idol and Amazing Race look like they will be good runs this year although we don’t have a favorite singer or team yet!
